Iridology Iridodiagnosis
is an alternative medicine technique where patterns,
colors and other characteristics of the iris can be examined to determine information about a patient's systemic health. The practitioner will match observations to an iris chart which divide the iris into zones that correspond to specific aspects of the body. Iridologists use corresponding charts to highlight certain systems and organs in the body as healthy and others as overactive, inflamed or distressed. Iridologists believe that this information may be used to demonstrate a patient's susceptibility towards certain illnesses, to reflect past medical issues, or to predict health problems that might be developing. As with all medicine, practitoniers want to use the best of their resources to ensure that their patients receive the best diagnostic care that will promote a healthy life. |
